In 2020 we were plagued by the Corona virus. For many it was a very difficult time, not only to worry about our friends and family getting sick but to worry about our own mental stability. It was a huge goal of ours to find ways to get children painting and doing something that they enjoyed. We contacted many schools with the goal to welcome everyone back once the doors open to indoor learning. We did get funding from most of the schools to paint fun inspirational messages.
Here is a mural painted by the children of Huff Elementary in Mountain view. The mural says, What do you see? There are paintings of children’s faces. All of different colors and backgrounds. There are flowers and butterflies. The message is to show the beauty in ourselves.
